Thank you for taking the time to visit the website of AFSCME Council 24, AFL-CIO, Wisconsin State Employees Union. This website is meant to provide a wealth of useful information for those who are committed to their Union or have the will to JOIN THE FIGHT.
Let me introduce myself to you though;
I am a retired Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper and past President of AFSCME Local 55 (Wisconsin State Patrol Union). I have been a member of AFSCME since 1982 and have served on the AFSCME Council 24 Executive Board and chaired the Law Enforcement bargaining unit in the late 1990's. Over the years I have participated on many union committees, have been a steward and was the inaugural chair of the State Employees Political Action Committee.
I started serving the membership of AFSCME Council 24 in 2001 as the Political Education Legislative Coordinator, a position I still hold today. I also am assigned the tasks of maintaining the website's, blog and facebook pages for AFSCME Council 24 and AFSCME Concil 24 SEPAC. This is a job that is very rewarding when my work can achieve some success and/or protection for a member.
